RicNic Summer Productions

Where YOU own the stage

Every year we run exciting summer programmes for 16-21 year olds at our branches in the South East and the West Midlands. Each branch forms a production company and stages a full-scale musical in which every role in the creative team, cast, crew and band is taken by a young person. Supported by our staff, trustees and partners, each company takes full responsibility for all the decisions and work that goes into creating a fantastic show. The whole programme is completely FREE to attend and is open to anyone, regardless of ability or experience. This is a unique opportunity to put on a show and make amazing new friends who share the same interest.

“RicNic is special in lots of ways. It is entirely youth-led; it provides outstanding opportunities to learn teamwork and is tremendously fun for participants and audiences alike; and, perhaps most importantly, it is free.”
