Thoroughly Modern Millie
RicNic Hampshire

Thoroughly Modern Millie
tells the story of a naive young flapper with a 'thoroughly modern goal': to find a rich employer and marry him. A series of adventures leads Millie to find true love - rather than a marriage of convenience - with plenty of singing and dancing along the way: a winning combination that earned the film seven Academy Award nominations.

The musical, which features music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics by Dick Scanlan, captures the film's madcap charm and won six Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway in 2002. With a plethora of jazzy, catching numbers - from 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' to 'Not for the Life of Me' - a host of larger-than-life characters, and a gripping plot, Thoroughly Modern Millie promises an unforgettable evening at the theatre!
